100 Men Who Care of Yavapai County Raises $14,000 for Police Foundations

100 Men Who Care of Yavapai County, Arizona held their quarterly giving event Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Prescott Valley’s Event Spot. The evening fundraising effort garnered a record $14,000 in one evening.
The 100 Men Who Care is a group of individuals that puts together a quarterly fundraising event in the region, inviting men from the quad cities of Yavapai County to participate in making a difference in the local communities. The group is not a non-profit or organization, simply a gathering of men who facilitate bringing people together for the benefit of those local charities that are making a difference in the lives of others on a daily basis.
The three non-profits that presented at the May 12th giving event were the Chino Valley Police Foundation, Prescott Valley Police Foundation, and the Prescott Police Foundation. After all the presentations, the men voted. Chino Valley Police Foundation was selected as the winner, receiving $10,000 in cash that evening. Because the fundraising event was so successful, the 100 Men Who Care committee decided to provide $2,000 to both the Prescott Valley and Prescott Police Foundations.
The organization was started in early 2019 and has held multiple giving events since its inception. To date, the 100 Men Who Care of Yavapai County Arizona has raised over $85,000 for non-profits in the region. 100% of all donations go to the selected non-profits.

The 100 Men Who Care also provided the opportunity for the Humboldt Education Foundation to fundraise through beverage sales. During the event, the Humboldt Education Foundation netted over $1,000 to support student and teacher grants as well as the organization’s Hungry Kids program. “We are especially grateful to the 100 Men Who Care in helping raise funds for our teachers and students while also raising funds for our law enforcement. The 100 Men Who Care event also provided an opportunity for the Humboldt Education Foundation to raise funds for Humboldt Unified School District grants for teachers and students.
The Event Spot of Prescott Valley was donated free of charge to the 100 Men Who Care event by owners Ken and Christy Foote.
